Introducing ‘THE DIAMOND’. This one-shot sample pack delivers a unique wooden snare experience, divided into two distinct shots for maximum versatility.
‘Blanks’ will be fired as the first shot. Blanks features a dampened snare with four tunings—loose, medium, high, and extra high—offering a range of deep, controlled tones.
The second shot is a Ricochet. Ricochet is an undampened snare with three tunings—loose, medium, and high—giving you brighter, more resonant hits.
Designed with flexibility in mind, this pack includes Trigger2 presets, allowing you to blend your own sound with close mics, mono and stereo overheads, and a stereo room mic.
Additional extras like rim clicks and wireless snare hits add even more character. With over 900 multi-velocity samples you get perfect dynamics like a real drummer would play.

The session
The microphones:
In this session we’ve used a minimal setup of three microphones. The alien8 dynamic mic on the kick by Dr Alien Smith. A great mic for capturing everything that is great in a kickdrum. The Sennheiser MD441 as snare top, but the main sound is the Chandler Limited TG microphone as a ‘wurst-mic’. Less is more, right?
